Warranty & Care

Manufacturer warranty

3-year limited manufacturer warranty (Phifer) against defects under normal outdoor use.

Please note: this is a warranty provided directly by the fabric manufacturer (Phifertex), not by Casual Slings. Any warranty claim must be filed with the manufacturer.

Care instructions

Rinse with mild soap and water and air dry. The open mesh dries fast and resists mildew.

Casual Slings custom-cuts every order to your measurements (1/8" tolerance) with matching spline tunnels. Because each sling is made to order, cut fabric is non-returnable once cutting begins.

About Phifertex Spectrum Stripe Dune

Phifertex Spectrum Stripe Dune is part of the Phifertex Stripes collection, a line of woven vinyl-mesh fabrics from Phifer, Inc. Phifertex is a vinyl-coated polyester mesh designed for sling chairs and chaises that are exposed to rain, pool spray, and direct sun.

Compared to solution-dyed acrylic, Phifertex dries faster after rain, holds up better to abrasive use, and is the original sling fabric for many commercial-grade outdoor furniture brands. It carries a 3-year warranty from the mill. Phifertex Spectrum Stripe Dune in dune works for any rail-channel sling chair or chaise.

Every Casual Slings order using Phifertex Spectrum Stripe Dune is cut to your measurements on a state-of-the-art computer-controlled cutting machine to a tolerance of 1/8 inch, sewn with matching spline tunnels, and shipped within 20-25 business days. Spline cord is included.
